My hubby and I like to collect Coke items.......which some I use to decorate with in my kitchen.
It all started several years ago with the Coca- Cola Polar Bear........hubby was on a rare shopping trip and purchased a couple of Coca- Cola Polar Bear Christmas stocking holders for the mantel. We have some things I decorate with in the kitchen, already said that, and some things I only get out at Christmas.
I guess the kid is still in us somewhat.........We love the Coca- Cola Polar Bear commercials......they really do make you smile.
MY FAVORITE!
This was made by our son-in-law for my hubby for a Christmas gift. He took an old piece of barn wood and wood burned Coca-Cola into it. It is such a lovely piece hanging on the wall.GOD BLESS

I love the barnwood with Coca Cola on it...what a clever idea....great find on the glasses...I love Dollar Tree
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice collection and the fact that it is something you and your husband enjoy together makes it even more special. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteOh I worked with a woman who was OBSESSED with Coke stuff. She had every possible thing with the logo or brand on it. Even buying stuff from other people (like my lunch bag) just because it had a Coke symbol on it... She had boxes and boxes and boxes of stuff and couldn't stop herself. It was rather sad, actually. A collector/hoarder in the worst way. I know you're not that bad! And I do love that barn board sign.
ReplyDeleteI really like that barnwood sign! He did a great job with that! It's so nice being able to share a hobby or collection with your hubby, isn't it? I think my husband loves vintage stuff and garage sales just as much as I do!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute glasses! And doesn't Coke taste good in them! I have a few Coca Cola tins and recently my husband bought a used Coca Cola delivery truck which had some signs inside. Need to find a place to hang some of them. Good job on the barnwood sign too!

How nice of the SIL to make that cool sign! I love the glasses, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting me today! I love your coke collection, especially the sign. Lidy
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun thing to collect! I see coke things around all the time. Thanks for coming by and saying hi. Mimi
ReplyDeleteThere is an antique mall in Brevard N.C. that I visited last summer that has lots of Coke items. I love your sign and glasses.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog and for becoming a follower! I am sorry it took me so long to get back to you but I just got back from vacation and trying to catch up with laundry etc. About the harp table...my parents had 2 of them (endtables) when I was growing up in the 50's but from what I have found is that they were very popular in the 40's too. I have a lot of work to do on mine. Right now all of my furniture is sitting in the basement because I prefer to do my furniture painting in the garage. Hopefully with Spring only days away, I will be getting to start on all of it soon. Good luck on painting your table too!~Hugs, Patti
