POWERLESS!

Not Again.....PLEASE!
Stormy again today and more severe storms are headed our way......
Last week the storms hit pretty hard in our area and we were without power for 3 days......even Internet service.

Needless to say it is never fun to be without Electricity....
"we are so spoiled".

The hubby and I did not mind it for the first couple of days..........we cooked all of our meals (even breakfast) on the grill outside.
 Oatmeal anyone?

Maybe you prefer fried eggs

&

Toast!

OR

Dinner Menu
Green Beans.....

With

Chicken & Potatoes       (in the foil)

 Dessert......

See the cast iron skillet on the top rack of grill....
Large biscuit for Strawberry Shortcake.
Yum Yum!

Romantic dinners by candlelight!

Hope all is well in your part of the world!

God Bless

  9. Your grilled dinner looks very good. I turn toward the camping supplies when we loose power. I also cook on top of the wood stove, during winter outages. I actually love doing that, even when we do have power.
