“There's rosemary, that's for remembrance. Pray you, love, remember.”
  William Shakespeare, Hamlet

Do you like Herbs and what is your favorite?
Rosemary is my the aroma it puts out when cooking with it.
A co-worker brought me some "fresh" Rosemary today at work and I added it to my Turkey Chops, while they broiled in the oven.......
and enjoyed the wonderful aroma all through the house.

I have always wanted to grow herbs but have not taken the time to learn more about them. I did read about them once and some of them require a lot more care than others. Do you grow them or do you buy the herbs you cook with?
If you have never tried Rosemary hope you will....I have used the dried  Rosemary but I really prefer the "fresh".

I would like to invite you to check out my new texture I applied to one of my flower shots at my photography blog. Just click on the link and it will take you right to it....Linda Segerson Photography.

While you are there please feel free to leave a comment.

  1. I have parsley coming up in the garden...from last year. I have planted herbs...Cilantro does well...I grow Basil in the house and have grown rosemary in the garden...but find I never use it like I should!

  2. Bev sounds like you are quite an "Herbalist"....thanks for the info. I have used Cilantro but I find it a little too strong for me. Happy gardening and enjoy! Have a blessed day!

  3. I've just started growing herbs this year. I planted rosemary and quite a few others. I'm using them fresh and drying them out.

    1. Judy thank you for all of the info on drying the rosemary you sent me by email. You are are dear sweet friend!

  4. I have a stand of rosemary planted inside a log -- and it came back this year in spades. I love it's fragrance!

    1. Lucky you! I was told by my co-worker that this was the 3rd year their plant has came back and produced. I may try my hand at the rosemary and a couple of other herbs. Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!
