AFTER 1 YEAR......

I will be starting a new JOB come Monday morning......
after a year of looking it finally happened...Yeah!

Don't worry...... I will still be blogging!

Love all of my Friends in blog-land and I will visit each one of you as often as possible.

Today may be gloomy outside but the "SUN" is shining inside...
I have my two wonderful grandsons here with me for a couple of days.

My daughter and her husband have gone to a Home School Convention in Memphis TN. They told me it is the largest one they have attended and it was fantastic!

A little Health info......I had a MRI the other day on my left knee and on my lower back. I have never had a MRI before and boy was that machine noisy....glad they gave me a headset to listen to music...it helped drown out some of the noise.....no way to take a snooze in this contraption!
I have a small herniated disc in the lower left side of my back....I just have to be more careful lifting and bending, this is going to be challenging.....I sure don't want to have back surgery...No, No No..definitely do not want surgery!

On the subject of my knee.....well I messed it up last Fall digging and transplanting flowers from my mom's house to mine (3 days of digging)...Ok I should have known better....Yes I knew my leg was getting sore but I just kept on going and I really did a number on the IT Band (lliotibial Band) that runs from the upper outer thigh and tapers down at the side of the knee. Usually runners get this type of knee injury, I am not a runner but I sure did over work it. My son-in-law who is a PT (Physical Therapist) told me if it was torn I would have to have surgery. I thought I better get it checked out before I find a job...Now can you believe this.....I got a call about the job offer the day before my MRI, talk about timing.
I thank the "GOOD LORD" above that there is "NO" tear and the Doc can treat it with a Z-Pak (steroids)...now all I need to worry about is "gaining" weight! LOL
God  is so good, I am with my 2 wonderful grandsons, I have a new job, I do not have to have surgery and I have a wonderful family and great friends!

 God Bless
Be Safe

~Linda~

  6. Hello Linda. I wanted to drop by to return the blog visit and thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. Congratulations on your new job! I hope you enjoy it.

I'm sorry about your knee injury but took heed at how you got it. Something to be careful of! I don't blame you for not wanting back surgery. I wouldn't either.

I'm so glad to hear that you've found a job, seems like it takes so long these days. No surgery, now that's a blessing too.
    Have a great weekend:)
