Get out your sewing machines & lets get crafty! September is the time to celebrate our creativity and passion for sewing, whether it be by hand or machine. If you have a project you are working on or have completed, email me a photo of it and a small description and I will post it to my blog. Come on lets show off our creativity and give other crafters some great ideas.

I have been working on curtains for my grandsons bedroom, using both machine and some hand work. I am making them out of dark blue denim and striped ticking fabric with loops on top attached with buttons and recycled buckles from overalls. The hand work is red yarn connecting the two fabrics together and decorative stitching up the sides to trim them out and give a little color. I will post a picture of them once I have completed them.

A great site for FREE sewing and craft projects and lots more...http://www.sewing.org
