I was cleaning out my kitchen cabinets and about to toss out, actually did, some dried beans & peas that I have had for a while, a long while. A light bulb came on, why couldn't I plant these in my Lasagna Garden this spring, so I retrieved them from the trash and went and searched the internet. I found some interesting articles on this, check out www.littlecountryvillage.com, they have some great info on how to do this. I think its a great idea, buy your dried beans and peas, so cheap, at the store and eat what you want and then plant some for more beans and peas. Wow, this sounds too good to be true, can't wait to try it in my Lasagna Garden.
